Casa Italia Children Italian Language Classes

Children’s classes run for 30 weeks, from September 2024 to May 2025. Children classes are offered for the following levels:

Exploratory

Children between
5-7 years old

Beginning

Children between
8-12 years old

Intermediate and Advanced

12-14 years old

We host all of the children’s classes in-person. We continue to take safety precautions at each location to help ensure the well-being of all students and staff members.

Casa Italia Adult Italian Language Classes

Adult Italian language classes run for 16 weeks and are 2 hours long. The adult class levels offered are:

Beginning 1

(2 sessions)
Students will acquire new Italian vocabulary and grammar skills. No previous knowledge of Italian is required.

Beginning 2

(2 sessions)
Students will expand their vocabulary skills and will be introduced to a higher level of grammar and cultural concepts. A minimum of one year of Italian learning is required.

Intermediate 1, 2

Students will continue to develop their vocabulary, grammar and cultural skills. They will learn how to correctly apply grammar rules and will sharpen their comprehension and writing skills.  Completion of both Beginning 1 and 2 classes is required.

Advanced 1, 2

Students will be working with higher-level texts and grammar concepts. They will focus on expressing themselves more fluently in academic and social situations. Completion of Intermediate 1 and 2 sessions is required.

Intermediate

Students will continue to advance their oral communication, pronunciation, and listening skills. They will discover new vocabulary, idiomatic phrases and other expressions that will allow them to converse in Italian more effectively and fluently.

All of the children’s classes are hosted in-person. We continue to take safety precautions at each location to help ensure the well-being of all students and staff members.
